Review - FEXT HOBBY x FANS HOBBY SCI-FI 07 Hangar Diorama
Yo what up folks! Today we are checking out the FEXT HOBBY x FANS HOBBY Sci-Fi 07 Hangar Diorama! This set was designed as a companion to the Fans Hobby Master Builder series and gives them a base to rest, relax, and do recon from! Just watch out for spying double agents sneaking around!

The Goodies (+)
+ Easy to assemble! You can put this set together in an hour or less without any complicated steps!
+ Huge! Big enough to accommodate large Voyager and Leader class figures, as well as Masterpiece scale!
+ High resolution printing on the panels is really well done. The quality of the prints is fantastic, and they are very durable and robust.
+ No stickers needed! All the details are printed or etched, even on the clear railing components!
+ Compatible with FEXT Utility Stands!
+ Clear panels used for the roof allow light in, and act as a diffuser to prevent harsh highlights and shadows. Great for display, and photography!
The Baddies (-)
- The instructions could be clearer. It’s not a complicated build to figure out, but larger images (and color images for that matter) would have helped.
- It’s too big to fit in a detolf. Obviously this is subjective, and only a negative if you had planned to fit it into one of your Ikea display cabinets.
- The build is solid, but it is still a bit nerve wracking to move from place to place while fully assembled.
Final Thoughts
Big fan of this one. It looks great with the Fans Hobby Masterforce figures like Athena, Ace Shooter, and Kap! It also works really well for Hasbro mainline figures as well. It’s awesome to have a little base for your figures to hang out in and the neutral tones of this one make it a bit more versatile than the yellow and purple bases that FEXT put out in previous years. It could work for other brands just as easily, as nothing is specifically “Transformers” themed. This one definitely get’s my recommendation.
