Review - Classics Optimus Prime (Age of Extinction)
I had wanted the classics Optimus Prime for a while, but I had been out of the collecting game when he came out and unwilling to pay what I considered to be an unfair aftermarket price for a toy that I felt was starting to show it's age.
Driving a truck...driving a big ole truck.
When Age of Extinction came out and brought with it this 2 pack of Classics Optimus Prime and AOE Evasion Optimus Prime I knew I had to jump on board. I was pretty pleased with the Evasion Prime mold and finally having a classics Optimus in hand felt good. The paint job could use some work for sure. As is he kind of looks like a KO of the classics version but I will give him some detailing down the road and he will look great on the shelf with my other classics. I wish the mold had ankle tilts but other than that I really can't complain. He's a near perfect voyager scale Optimus prime for any classics collection.
A true leader worthy of the name...Arise Optimus Prime.
